Daniel Wu is fearlessly protecting science from falling into the wrong hands in the new home entertainment release of his explosive crime drama, ‘Sky on Fire.’ In honor of the action movie arriving on Digital today and on Blu-ray and DVD Tuesday, June 6 from Well Go USA, Shockya is premiering an exclusive GIF, which features a high-speed car chase from the thriller.

Well Go USA has released the following synopsis for ‘Sky on Fire’:

The chief security officer at a top-secret medical facility (Daniel Wu) finds himself caught in an explosive battle when a young thief and his accomplices steal a groundbreaking curative medicine. After discovering the true origins of the medicine, the officer must decide whom he can trust to protect the cure from falling into the wrong hands and prevent an all-out war from bringing the city to its knees.?

‘Sky on Fire’ will be available on Blu-ray and DVD for the SRP of $29.98 and $24.98, respectively, and is now available to pre-order. The crime drama marks the return of legendary filmmaker Ringo Lam to his Hong Kong roots. The filmmaker wrote and directed the caction movie, which is packed with high-speed car chases, dramatic plot twists and fiery gunfights.

The thriller also marks Wu’s return to Asian cinema, following his American success on the TV series, ‘Into the Badlands,’ and his international recognition in the blockbuster, ‘Warcraft: The Beginning.’ In addition to Wu, ‘Sky on Fire’ also stars Zhang Ruoyun in his feature film debut, Zhang Jingchu, Chang Hsiao Chuan and Amber Kuo.
