Patrick Exclusive Clip
(L-R): Actresses Beattie Edmondson and Emily Atack appear in an exclusive clip from writer-director Mandie Fletcher’s family comedy, ‘Patrick.’

Feeling pressured to participate in an undesirable event, particularly as they try to fully assimilate into a new work environment, can be a daunting experience for anyone. That’s certainly the case for actress Beattie Edmondson’s protagonist, Sarah, in the upcoming family comedy, ‘Patrick.’

The main character is propelled into partaking in a charity run that she feels will be unpleasant in an exclusive clip from the film. The clip, which is titled ‘Fun Run,’ follows Sarah, who’s the newest teacher at a school, as she’s compelled into taking part in the title race by one of her superiors. Her fellow educator informs out that she’s the only teacher who hasn’t signed up for the event.

ShockYa is premiering ‘Fun Run’ in support of ‘Patrick’s upcoming distribution. Screen Media will release the movie in select theaters and on VOD next Friday, February 15.

The comedy was written and directed by ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ helmer, Mandi Fletcher. In addition to Edmondson, ‘Patrick’ also stars her real-life mother, Jennifer Saunders (who previously collaborated with Fletcher on ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ as the scribe and one of the actresses). The upcoming film also features Ed Skrein (‘Deadpool,’ ‘Maleficent 2’) and Tom Bennett (‘Love & Friendship’).

Screen Media has released the following synopsis for ‘Patrick’:

Sarah Francis is a young woman who’s unlucky in love and whose life a bit of a mess. The last thing she needs is a mischievous dog to look after. Yet, hen she inherits Patrick the pug from her grandmother, not only does he turn her life upside down, but he also changes it forever.
