Bill Nighy confirmed in an interview with David Frost on “Frost All Over The World” that he has replaced Eddie Izzard in “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” as the mouse Reepicheep.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Hot Fuzz” star will voice the gallant and chivalrous mouse knight who accompanies Prince Caspian on the dragon-shaped Dawn Treader boat as they explore the far seas. Izzard voiced the role in the second installment, “Prince Caspian.”

“The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”, based on CS Lewis’s 1952 book in his “Narnia” book series is scheduled to hit theaters on December 10th, 2010.
