After meeting at Kate Hudson’s Halloween party last year, ‘Red Riding Hood’ star Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe have been secretly dating each other, but now the two stars are making their relationship more public, People Magazine is reporting. Phillippe visited Seyfried on the set of her new film, ‘Now,’ on January 6, where they took a walk together. The following morning, the two were spotted having brunch with friends at the LA restaurant Joan’s On Third.

The recent LA spottings come after Phillippe and Seyfried were seen eating together in Mexico earlier in the week. The new relationship is the first for Phillippe since his ex-wife, Reese Witherspoon, announced her engagement to Jim Toth last month. Phillippe’s last high-profile romance was with his ‘Stop-Loss’ co-star Abbie Cornish, which ended about a year ago.

This is also the first high-profile romance for Seyfried since she broke up with Dominic Cooper about seven months ago. She made headlines right before that relationship ended, as she said in interviews that she wasn’t sure if Cooper was “the one.”
