The tantalizing and refreshing voice of Colbie Caillat could make any two people fall in love. Yes, we know this statement is extremely general, but her voice illuminates hope; the kind of hope that allows you to begin a day thinking something extraordinary will occur and for most women out there that usually means finding someone. So in a round about away, Colbie can be your matchmaker.
Don’t believe us? Well, experience her magical ways up close and personal when she performs at TLC’s “Royal Wedding Event” in Times Square on April 29th. The network’s week-long event of Royal Wedding programming will culminate with a live production event and viewing party from Times Square. TLC will takeover the Father Duffy Square area of Times Square and broadcast a pre-show and coverage of the wedding on two of the area’s most dynamic billboards. Guests will join TLC talent and celebrity contributors to celebrate the big day, as they watch the wedding live on jumbotrons.
With her new album coming out May 3rd, our guess is that Colbie will perform her newest single off of All Of You, the track, “I Do,” which was written by Colbie and Toby Gad and produced by Greg Wells. This is a fitting tune to play during a wedding show, right? Well, we have a little insider information from Colbie herself that if you dig through the lyrics of the tune, the song is not referring to those words you utter at a wedding ceremony. You will see what we mean in a few short days.
