Paramount released the theatrical trailer for the third installment of the sci-fi/action series based on the Hasbro toy line, “Transformers: Dark of The Moon” today. In this trailer, we get a better idea of the story and the action of this film. And boy, is this trailer thrilling! Optimus Prime and the gang are back and they have taken the fight to protect Earth from the evil Decepticons to the big city of Chicago.

This looks like a lot of fun! It looks like it will be full of great action sequences and thrilling chases. But are we willing to be fooled again by Michael Bay. In 2009, “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen” may have been the highest grossing film of the year, but it was universally panned by critics and moviegoers alike. It even received a Razzie for Worst Film of the Year and currently has a 20% freshness rating on RottenTomatoes.com.
“Transformers: Dark of The Moon” will feature Shia LaBeouf, supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, John Malkovich and Patrick Dempsey and will hit theaters nationwide on July 1st in 3D.
