Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has been cast in Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming HBO show ‘More As This Story Develops,’ The New York Post is reporting. The drama, which will feature Kennedy in her first major role, will follow a co-anchor, played by Jeff Daniels, who must deal with a new crew after his fellow host lands a new job and takes most of the staff. The show will also feature Olivia Munn, Sam Waterston, Emily Mortimer, Dev Patel and Alison Pill.
Kennedy is a graduate of Stanford and was recently studying at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Cheryl Hines, who is dating Kennedy’s father, has been introducing the young actress to casting directors and producers.
