Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired the American and Canadian distribution rights for the comedy-drama ‘Revenge for Jolly!’ The acquisition is the first for the newly-formed affiliate company of Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment.
‘Revenge for Jolly!,’ which was directed by Chadd Harbold and written by Brian Petsos, stars Petsos and Oscar Isacc. Kristen Wiig, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Ryan Phillippe make special cameos in the film. The movie follows a man, played by Petsos, who, with the help of his cousin, portrayed by Isaac, seeks to avenge the death of his beloved dog. The two attempt to track down the dog’s murderer, after the dog was killed under suspicious circumstances.
Atlas Independent’s William Green and Aaron Ginsburg produced ‘Revenge for Jolly!’ with Petsos and his company, A. Saboteur. Atlas’ Alan Glazer executive produced the film with Chris Wilmot, Michael Wunderman, Peter Fruchtman and Dan Berk.
