New Full-Length Taken 2 Trailer Proves Liam Neeson Still Has Fight Left

A new full-length trailer for the anticipated action crime drama ‘Taken 2′ has been released by 20th Century Fox, First Showing is reporting. The sequel to the surprise 2008 action hit, ‘Taken,’ was directed by ‘Transporter 3′ helmer Olivier Megaton. The film, which was written by the original movie’s scribes, Luc Besson, who is also producing, and Robert Kamen, is set to hit theaters on October 5.

Liam Neeson reprises his role of retired CIA operative Bryan Mills, who takes his wife, Lenore, once again played by Famke Janssen, to Istanbul on vacation. The two are accompanied by their daughter, Kim, once again portrayed by Maggie Grace. While on their vacation, Bryan and Lenore are taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper Bryan killed in the first film, while trying to rescue Kim.
