While iTunes and Spotify are dominating forces of sales in the music industry, the purchase of vinyl has also risen in the last decade. The clarity of songs played via a computer hardly compares to that produced on a recorder player, but the artwork on a vinyl and its cover are physical memories that the Internet can’t replace. For those who haven’t joined the vinyl bandwagon due to the lack of practicality of it or the fear of being typecast as a “hipster”, I advise you to forgo these misgivings and purchase vinyl while it’s this plentiful.

So, start your vinyl collection with the release of Blink 182’s “Take Off Your Pants and Jacket” LP, which also includes three bonus 7”. Entering the final production stages, the trio’s LP is set to drop on May 7th. The first pressing will be limited to a total of 2,500 copies and will include a never before released foreword written by Hoppus.

If you want to find out more about the upcoming Blink 182 release, head on over to ShopRadioCast, who will be hosting a #TOYPAJ Twitter Party at 9pmEST on March 4th. This event will include an exclusive #TOYPAJ announcement, giveaways and a Q&A session allowing media outlets and customers to submit questions about the Blink 182 project.
