Films don’t start screening until later this evening, but the SXSW poster gallery is already set up in the convention center, giving us first looks at some of the most highly anticipated features hitting the big screen this week.

We’ve got the poster for “Gus,” a comedic drama starring Radha Mitchell and Michelle Monaghan as a pair of close friends, one who desperately wants to conceive a child but can’t and another who winds up pregnant after a one night stand. There’s also one for “Some Girl(s),” the Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, Zoe Kazan, Jennifer Morrison, and Emily Watson-starrer written by Neil LaBute and based on his own play.

We’ve also got a bloody Pat Healy on the poster for “Cheap Thrills,” the Midnighters entry that’s foreign sales rights have already been snatched by international sales agents Films Distribution. The James Franco, Catherine Keener, David Strathairn and Alan Cumming-starrer, “Maladies,” also claimed a spot in the gallery as did “Short Term 12,” a film featuring Brie Larson as a supervisor at a foster-care facility.

Saving the best for last, we’ve got the poster for my very own short film, “Child Eater.” The poster was design by a Columbia University MFA classmate, Brandon Zuck, highlighting the evil that’s about to fall upon poor little Lucas (Cameron Ocasio) and his babysitter Helen (Cait Bliss).

Check out all the posters for yourself below and keep an eye on Shockya.com for more as SXSW 2013 commences tonight!
