“Da Vinci’s Demons” kept the intrigue and mystery high in the third episode, “The Prisoner.” The episode, which aired Friday, not only featured power play, but also an outbreak of possession:

“Riario discusses his defeat with the Pope and a mysterious prisoner. An outbreak of demonic possession at a convent is blamed on the Medici’s, but Leonardo searches for a rational explanation.”
