Skateboarding legend Paul Rodriguez will debut the trailer for skateboarding documentary “We Are Blood” at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards. The film, directed by famous skate film director Ty Evans, will feature Rodriguez as well as several other prominent skateboarders as they attempt to show how the culture of skateboarding can create intense bonds and change lives.
“WE ARE BLOOD elevates the traditional skateboarding film to connect with skateboarders and non-skateboarders alike. As seen through P-Rod’s eyes, the film follows him and other top skateboarders as they travel the world pushing the limits of what’s possible on a board and celebrating the unifying passion and unconditional bond created by the simple act of skateboarding.”
The film was created in conjunction with Mtn Dew® Green Label Films and Brain Farm and is written by Mark Anders. Along with Rodriguez (otherwise called P-Rod), the film stars skateboarders Jordan Maxham, Tiago Lemos, Chase Webb, Chris Colbourn, Clint Walker, Clive Dixon and many others. The film was shot over a year and focuses on Rodriguez’s exciting career as well as the lives of the skatboarding up-and-comers as they become better and more extreme skaters.
