The ever-inspirational Marek is continuing to pursue her dream of becoming a powerful wizard, who won’t allow her enemies to prevent her from protecting the world, in the new action-adventure film, ‘Mythica: The Darkspore.’ To help promote the fantasy movie’s recent release on DVD, On Demand and VOD, Shockya is exclusively broadcasting the sequel’s first clip, ‘I Had a Dream.’

‘Mythica: The Darkspore’ is the second installment in the ‘Mythica’ fantasy saga that was created by Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin. The follow-up film stars Melanie Stone as Marek, as well as Kevin Sorbo, Adam Johnson, Jake Stormoen and Nicola Posener. Anne Black, who co-scribed and directed the first film in the franchise, last year’s hit ‘Mythica: A Quest For Heroes,’ returned to co-pen and helm the sequel. The filmmaker wrote the sequel with Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin.

The ‘Mythica’ series follows the adventures of Marek, a wizard born with the dark power of necromancy, as she learns to harness the magic that threatens to corrupt her. She recruits a team of adventurers to battle Szorlok, the legendary Necromancer, and thwart his goal of uniting the four shards of the Darkspore to unleash an undead plague on the land.

The five-movie ‘Mythica’ saga, which is the largest indie fantasy project that has ever been filmed, will release its second sequel, ‘Mythica: The Necromancer,’ this summer. Production has just wrapped on the final two installments in the franchise, ‘Mythica: The Iron Crown’ and ‘Mythica: The Godslayer.’

SunWorld Pictures distributed ‘Mythica: The Darkspore’ on DVD, while Cinedigm released the fantasy movie On Demand and on VOD.
