Uncovering the creepily sinister truth of a world you thought you knew can be a harrowing and frightening experience for anyone, even for those who thought they have already contended with their most malevolent emotions. Ethan Peck is struggling to cope with those dire sentiments as he encounters an entirely new, dark vision of the classic Brothers Grimm adventure of ‘Sleeping Beauty.’ To honor the actor’s new film, ‘The Curse of Sleeping Beauty,’ and the gripping new reality his character is forced to confront, Shockya has an exclusive clip from the thriller.

‘The Curse of Sleeping Beauty,’ which opened in select theaters last Friday, May 13, is receiving a wider release today by its distributor, XLrator Media, as it’s debuting on VOD and iTunes. The thriller was directed by Pearry Teo, who also co-wrote the script with Josh Nadler. In addition to Peck, the drama also stars Natalie Hall, India Eisley and Bruce Davison.

XLrator Media has released the following synopsis for ‘The Curse of Sleeping Beauty’:

Thomas Kaiser (Ethan Peck) inherits an ancestral mansion that has been in his family for generations — only to learn that he has also inherited an ancient curse stemming back to the Crusades. Forced into his new role as “protector” — the guardian appointed to keep the evil demons in the house at bay — Thomas must unravel the mystery of the house, while struggling to awaken the beautiful Briar Rose (India Eisley), held captive in a terrifying netherworld seen previously in his dreams.
