Artist: Dylan Tauber, keyboards and synths

Album: ‘Dolphin Trance’

Production: Son of Waves Studios

Embarking on a spiritual revolution, particularly during a time when many people are implicitly confirming to society’s standards, can be a daunting prospect. But Israeli-based electronica musician, Dylan Tauber, is entrancingly proving once again that he isn’t afraid to contradict the standards that have long been placed on the genre. With his ninth album, ‘Dolphin Trance,’ the artist has intriguing mixed such styles as ambient, chill out and trance, in order to create uplifting and unique remixes of dolphin and ocean inspired tracks.

‘Dolphin Trance’ is launched with the memorable and calming song, ‘The Sea Trance Remix,’ which begins with a soothing classical vibe. Tauber soon proves his daring approach when the track suddenly mixes in an intense and up-beat dance-infused electronica vibe. The entry features an interesting blend of piercing keyboards with the gripping vocals of a guest female singer. The natural mix undeniably proves right away that the musician is dedicated to utilizing diverse beats.

Tauber’s unique blend of EDM beats and instrumentals effortlessly flows into the record’s sophomore song, ‘Dolphin Swim Trance Remix.’ The musician’s use of epic drum beats make it easy to put the track on repeat.

The next entry on ‘Dolphin Trance,’ which is titled ‘Dolphin Cry 2.0 Remix,’ unfortunately isn’t as epic as its predecessors. While the third song begins with an enticingly soothing introduction, before it transitions into a more classic electronic vibe about 30 seconds in, the slower beat is easily forgettable amongst the more upbeat first two tracks.

Tauber’s next song, ‘Life Feeling Remix,’ also offers a soothing vibe. Unfortunately, it also doesn’t promise to be as much of a classic club hit as ‘The Sea Trance Remix’ and ‘Dolphin Swim Trance Remix.’ But the musician immediately returns to form with his next up-tempo entry, ‘Carry Me Trance Remix,’ which once again stunningly uses eclectic synthesizers and drums.

‘Dolphin Trance’ continues to prove the musician’s engaging versatility with the unparalleled spiritual, up-tempo entry, ‘For Dylan Tauber.’ The album also doesn’t fail to maintain its intensity through its next powerful offering, ‘Dolphin Cry 2.0 Trance Remix #2.’ Tauber’s fierce nature continues with his next up-temp track, ‘Dolphin Whisper Remix,’ which features haunting vocals and profound EDM electronic keyboards and drums.

Tauber’s most recent record ends on a high note with its gripping final song, ‘Son of Waves 2.0 Trance Remix.’ After beginning on an emotional note, it alluringly morphs into the musician’s signature up-tempo EDM dance beats abut 45 seconds in. Ending ‘Dolphin Trance’ on such a light, but equally gripping, note helps prove he doesn’t wish to regularly confirm to society’s expectations on how EDM and electronica music should sound.

Tauber’s latest dynamic album contains stunningly diverse electronica music styles to create equally upbeat and sentimental trance songs. Through diverse synthesizer sounds and drum sets, ‘Dolphin Trance’ effortlessly blends together unique traditional World Music with modern New Age rhythms. By refusing to confirm to society’s ideals on what defines the genre and guarantees success, the musician created a distinct album that features uplifting harmonies with soul searching instrumentals.
