Grim secrets that were never meant to be uncovered can end up ominously haunting even the most well-intentioned people. That’s certainly the case with the four unsuspecting friends in the upcoming horror film, ‘Eloise.’ As the group embark on a journey that’s meant to benefit one of its members, a sinister force descents upon them all. The protagonists’ troubling plight is highlighted in the movie’s newly released official trailer, poster and stills. The assets have been unveiled to help promote the drama’s distribution into theaters and on VOD on February 2, 2017 by Vertical Entertainment.

The thriller is the latest genre film from the producers of ‘The Exorcism of Emily Rose’ And ‘The Rite.’ ‘Eloise’ marks the feature film directorial debut of Oscar and Emmy-award winning cinematographer and visual effects supervisor, Robert Legato, who previously worked on such blockbusters as ‘Hugo’ and ‘Titanic.’ The horror movie stars Chace Crawford, Eliza Dushku, Robert Patrick, Nicole Forester and Brandon T. Jackson.

The drama, which was written by Christopher Borrelli, follows four friends as they break into an abandoned insane asylum. The group sets out to search for a death certificate that they believe is in the building, as it will grant one of them a large inheritance. However, finding it soon becomes the least of their worries, as the building is haunted by dark memories.
