Steven Seagal is once again defeating the odds and working as a dedicated lawman to protect society. The actor is portraying a DEA Agent who will take any means necessary to stop a dangerous drug cartel, and track down the mole that compromised the operation, in his latest action film, ‘Cartels.’ In honor of the thriller’s recent release, Shockya is debuting an exclusive red-band clip, which is titled ‘Hotel Shootout.’ The video follows the team of U.S. forces that’s working with the actor’s character in his mission to bring down the Eastern European cartel.

The drama is now playing in select U.S. theaters and On Demand, courtesy of Lionsgate. In addition to Seagal, who also produced the crime movie, the film also stars Georges St. Pierre, Martine Argent, Darren E. Scott, Massimo Dobrovic and Luke Goss. ‘Cartels’ was directed by Keoni Waxman, who also served as an executive producer, and co-wrote the script with Richard Beattie.

Lionsgate has released the following synopsis for ‘Cartels’:

Action legend Steven Seagal headlines this explosive thriller that pits U.S. forces against an Eastern European drug cartel. When crime boss Salazar turns informant, U.S. Marshal Jensen (Goss) and his team must guard their luxury-hotel safe house. But as cartel underboss Sinclaire (St. Pierre) and his hit squads descend to murder Salazar, the situation explodes, enraging Agent Harrison (Seagal), who will stop at nothing to root out the mole that compromised the operation.
