Friday, October 7th, 2011

Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have confirmed that they have ended their five-month, highly-publicized relationship, and the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress is unfazed by the break-up, US Magazine is reporting. The 36-year-old DiCaprio is reportedly looking for someone to eventually start a family with, but the 24-year-old Lively isn’t in the same place as he is. But the break-up didn’t stop the actress from stopping at the Renaissance Hotel in New York City the day after her break-up…

In Your Opinion: Green Lantern

Tuesday, June 21st, 2011

“Green Lantern” premiered last week to the type of fanfare designated for any big-budget comic book superhero film. Sanders, Taika Waititi You know those ride simulators in arcades or even the ones like the Spider-Man ride in universal? They’re a blast, right? Then again, remove the vehicle that bumps along with the ride and watch that video in another location and it’s probably not particularly enjoyable anymore. Well, consider Green Lantern that displaced amusement park simulator video, tacky visuals, unconvincing and only capable of holding your attention for minutes at a time. Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) is your average guy. Actually, not really; he’s…
