In recent news, Peter Jackson has announced that Lee Pace who was the star of Tarsems, “The Fall” and the underrated TV series “Pushing Daisies” and “Wonderfalls”, will be cast in the role of Elven King Thranduil. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Owen Wilson has signed on to voice the rascally Great Dane “Marmaduke” for Fox’s adaptation of the long-running newspaper comic strip. The film will follow a family named the Winslows who move from Kansas to Orange County, and their giant slobbering dog Marmaduke, who causes chaos wherever he goes. The strip was created in 1954 by Brad Anderson about a giant Great Dane dog and his misadventures causing trouble throughout the neighborhood. Judy Greer, Lee Pace and William H.
