D23 Expo: The Latest On Monsters University

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

At this point in time we as an audience are used to seeing sequels being spit out into cinemas left and right. If a movie has some form of story that can be continued through several other films, a franchise is born. Who can blame them? If they end up with a franchise it could mean loads of cash in their pockets. Then again we’ve seen a few other films that have tried to get past the starting line towards a potential sequel only to putter out after the race begins. Regardless, it’s a risk no matter which way you look at it, unless you’re Pixar. Pixar Animation Studios has…

The Help Bryce Interview

Interview: Bryce Dallas Howard On The Help

Thursday, August 11th, 2011

Plenty of actors have stated that playing a villain is always tons of fun. But when you’re playing a character that’s so incredibly revolting as a human being, could it be more difficult to crawl into the mind of that person? Perhaps, but there are actors like Bryce Dallas Howard who end up pulling it off without a hitch like she does in “The Help.” She takes on the role of Hilly Holbrook, a woman who’s mindset is anything but progressive. She’s the leader of the group of gullible wives in 1960s Jackson, Mississippi where she leads the charge for racial segregation against the African American housemaids. For many people…

Interview: Emma Stone And Viola Davis Talk About 'The Help'

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

There’s plenty of history that’s seeped deep within the proverbial veins of America. Some of it may be great, but there’s an equal amount of awful prejudice that has been intertwined with this nation for many years. The novel brings us back into the midst of the civil rights movement that brings to light how, despite the obstacles, equal rights can still be achieved. We got the opportunity to converse with several of the stars from “The Help.” The biggest stars easily were…
