Kevin Grevioux, the co-creative brains behind the “Underworld” franchise, will be making his directorial debut on the adaptation of his graphic novel, “The Pale Horsemen,” which he will also be writing. Larry Meistrich’s Nehst Studios has picked up to produce.

“The Pale Horsemen,” out on Grevioux’s DarkStorm Studios imprint, is described as a supernatural-tinted thriller that follows around a motley crew of assassins, forced to work together to find out who killed their old mentor.

This is the latest of several projects from Grevioux. The film rights to several of his other graphic novels have also recently been picked up, including “ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction” and “I Frankenstein,” optioned by Benderspink and Death Ray Films, respectively.
