Natalie Portman is joining the cast of the Universal Pictures comedy “Your Highness”, which will also star Danny McBride and James Franco and is being directed by David Gordon Green (“Pineapple Express”). Scott Stuber produces through his U-based banner. Jon Mone and Andy Davis are executive producers of the project.
McBride, who wrote the script with Ben Best, plays a lazy and arrogant prince who alongside his brother, played by Franco, must complete a quest to save his kingdom as well as his brother’s fiancee. Portman will play a warrior princess with whom McBride’s lazy prince falls in love with.
