Paramount has picked up rights to the Image comic title “Existence 2.0” by Nick Spencer and artist Ronald Salas.

Miles Millar and Alfred Gough (TV’s “Smallville”, “Shanghai Noon”) are attached to create the adaptation. The Paramount-based Platinum Dones is producing alongside David Alpert from Circle of Confusion. Rick Jacobs of CoC is on board as executive producer with Millar and Gough.

The Image/Shadowline comic is about an amoral and self-absorbed physicist who is assassinated by a hitman, but then finds his mind somehow transferred into the body of the very hitman who had killed him. He then goes on to enjoy the life of a globe-trotting assassin until the very forces that tried to kill him kidnap his daughter.

No casting information has been released yet.
