Skyline may be yet another alien invasion movie on the way, but from the moment someone snapped that very first picture of the film’s Comic-Con banner, it’s been stirring up some serious buzz. Unlike most of its kind, Skyline isn’t a big budget production and apparently had a crew of just 20 people, but by the looks of the film’s very first trailer, however minimal their resources were, the Strause brothers put them to good use.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

In the sci-fi thriller Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

It’s one thing to just picture this happening in your mind or to take a glance at Skyline’s poster, but seeing masses of people being beamed up in the trailer is particualrly unsettling. Check it out for yourself below and keeping an eye out for more material from Skyline as the film’s November 12th release date approaches.
