For those of you who can’t wait for the Simon Pegg-Nick Frost-Seth Rogen film “Paul”, here’s a new clip from the film, courtesy of Empire Online.

In this clip, we find character Ruth, played by “Saturday Night Live”‘s Kristen Wiig, getting a buzz from some drugs. Ruth is a repressed person due to her highly conservative upbringing, so this will be the first time in her life that she actually gets a bit loose.

The film’s storyline follows two friends Clive (Frost) and Graeme (Pegg) as they travel across the United States, only to discover an alien hitchhiker named Paul (voiced by Rogen), who is escaping from his government hold-up in Area 51. Immediate hijinks ensue.

This film is on the fast track to be another fan favorite by Frost and Pegg; their previous films, “Shaun of the Dead” and “Hot Fuzz” quickly became modern cult classics.

In Pegg and Frost’s native United Kingdom, the film, also starring Sigourney Weaver, Bill Hader, Blythe Danner, Jason Bateman, Jane Lynch and Jeffery Tambor,  will be released in theaters February 14, just in time for Valentine’s Day, but for us in the States, the film will come out on March 18, just in time for…nothing.
