I found a little something in my mailbox today, a black box. Well, actually it was a standard cardboard box in black wrapping, but I figured I’d paint the entire picture. Anyway, inside this cardboard box was a red card that reads, “Once you flip the switch, there’s no going back … Adapt or die.” Underneath is a date, “4.8.11.”

April 8th, 2011 is the release date of the movie Hanna and, sure enough, the other item in the box was a silver contraption with the film’s title on it. This device has got three different on switches with a red button in the middle. It’s far too soon to divulge any of Hanna’s secrets, but keep in mind this button plays a key role in the film’s plot.

Now the question is, how does the button work? Attached to the back of the box is a USB cable, so clearly, it’s meant to be used with a computer. I plugged it in, but nothing. I haphazardly flipped the switches, but nothing. Finally I took notice of the numbers next to each switch. They’re meant to be flipped in a specific order. I flipped switch one, two and then three and that’s when the “Main” light illuminated. It was finally time. I lifted the plastic cover and pushed the red button.

What happened? See for yourself in the video below.

Okay, so nothing that special, but the box does come packed with four additional USB ports on the back and functions as a pretty cool looking USB hub.
