How many “American Pie” movies have come out now? A ton? Well, whatever the number, there’s going to be at least one more, and this one appears to actually be heading to the movie screen.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal Studios is looking to get the original “American Pie” cast together for “American Reunion”. The studio has already signed off on deals with Seann William Scott, Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, and is currently working on bringing Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge back into the fold.

Hayden Schlossberg and Jon Hurwitz from Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle have written the script and are expected to direct.

The “American Pie” franchise has been very lucrative for Universal; aside from the two theatrical releases, several “American Pie” direct-to-DVD movies have been released. Hopefully, this next film can keep the monetary success going.

So, I put it to you. What do you, the avid studious movie-goer think abut this development? Are you excited to see yet another “American Pie” movie? Do you just want the series to end? Or are you apathetic to the whole thing? Leave your comments and/or rants below in the comments section.
