If you’ve been following “American Idol”, you probably already know about the intense fallout that happened after fan (and judge) favorite Pia Toscano got ousted. Right after she was voted out, everyone was looking for someone to blame, from America to the judges, and just to use him as a scapegoat, fellow contestant (and also Bottom Two member) Stefano Langone (he didn’t know this was going to happen!!)
But rest assured, everyone, because Toscano has a record deal! It’s been revealed over the weekend that immediately after her ouster, Interscope records told her they wanted to work with her, according to a source Popeater contacted for the story. The source also states that papers are being signed, everything’s being finalized, and that the record company is in contact with several music insiders in order to rush-release an album.
It would be fitting that Interscope would contact her, seeing how Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope-Geffen-A&M, is the contestants’ mentor this year.
