According to a press release posted on Coming Soon, a casting call has been issued for the film adaptation of comedian Steve Harvey’s self-help book, “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.”

The press release states that Screen Gems is looking to cast a man and a woman in walk-on roles. By going to www.FaceOfTheFan.com, potential hopefuls can send their headshot, an audition video (two minutes or less) of the person acting out a monologue from the book, and their contact information.

The casting call will be open until May 13; on May 20, the public will be able to vote on their favorite participants. The public will be able to choose up to ten men and ten women. Voting ends June 8, with the winners landing their roles.

Steve Harvey’s book “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man” is a relationship self-help book aimed at teaching women about men and how to handle the ups and downs in relationships. He also gives similar advice on his syndicated radio show, “The Steve Harvey Morning Show”.
