“Two and a Half Men” star Jon Cryer is ready to face what the future has in store for the popular sitcom with Ashton Kutcher in Charlie Sheen’s role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Even though Cryer is excited about the addition of Kutcher, he did acknowledge the time he spent working with Sheen. “I want to express my enormous gratitude to Charlie Sheen for eight great seasons,” he said in a statement to People. “I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done together, and I miss him. But I’m also looking forward to this new beginning.”

Of Kutcher, Cryer said, “Ashton is an extraordinarily talented guy, and his presence will be an asset to our show,” he said. “…I’m jazzed about the news…that Two and a Half Men is coming back! For all the rest of the cast and crew I’m sure they are equally excited.”

Kutcher was signed onto the show last week to replace Sheen. As everyone probably knows by now, Sheen was fired from “Two and a Half Men” for outbursts and inappropriate conduct. He has since developed a web series, tour, and has also helped people in Alabama for tornado relief.

If you’re a “Men” fan, what do you think about Kutcher taking the reins? Sound off below.
