London’s own, Chris Vance, has nabbed the lead role of professional bad ass Frank Martin in the TV adaption of The Transporter.  The small screen production comes by way of executive producer Luc Besson, who collaborated on the script for all three installments of the action franchise that previously starred starred Jason Statham.  Recently catching up with Vance, the EW asked the star of the forthcoming Cinemax series what fans can expect when they see the Transporter play out on the paid cable network?

Vance, who has been training for his physically demanding role,  informed the news outlet that the show will feature “fast paced, action packed, car chases. Stunts. Fights, beautiful girls, villains, heroes, [and] guns.  It should be a lot of fun!”  Transporter, the TV series, will kick off filming on location in Canada and Europe.  The series is expected to make its debut on Cinemax next year.

Meanwhile, the forty year old Chris Vance, who has been seen in Burn Notice and Prison Break, just appeared in the hit series Dexter as Cole Harmon, and was also on board Fairly Legal as the guest character Paul Shelton.
