Olivia Munn and Alison Pill are the two newest actresses cast in HBO’s pilot ‘More As This Story Develops,’ TVGuide is reporting. The show will focus on Will, played by the already cast Jeff Daniels, a co-anchor of a news show on a fictional cable news network who must adjust to a new staff. His former co-host left the network for another job and brought most of the staff with him.
Munn, who most recently appeared on NBC’s short-lived sitcom ‘Perfect Couples,’ will portray sexy financial analyst Sloan, who has her own show on Will’s network. Pill, who can next be seen in ‘Midnight in Paris,’ will play one of Will’s associate producers who had a unbalanced relationship with another staffer on the show.
The pilot for ‘More As This Story Develops’ was written by Aaron Sorkin, who will also serve as an executive producer alongside Scott Rudin and Alan Poul. Greg Mottola will direct the pilot.
