Shwayze and Cisco Adler are walking on sunshine and lovin’ every minute of it. The duo’s 2011 summer is looking like a BBQ’d hot plate.. “Full and Yummy”. Shwayze and Cisco have been together for three years now as a musical item and already have, two major label albums, a buzz of an MTV reality series, countless touring dates and Bananabeat Records amongst other entrepreneurial endeavors.
Just think, a band comes to your town, you hop on stage and start freestylin’. Why not!! That’s what Shwayze did and look what happend to the Batman and Robin of ‘Hip Beats USA’. The are coming out with their third album called ‘Island In The Sun’, which was a film originally made in 1957 about race relations that Harry Belafonte wrote the title song for. That’s pretty cheeky guys, very clever considering, one of you is… and the other is…, well Shwayze and Cisco of course.
‘Island in The Sun’ is gonna be dope I’m sure, seeing how your last two albums were pretty crackin’. “We’ve both grown as people and artist”, says Adler… “The core of this record was just us jamming together”, says Shwayze. Adler produced the album in the Bananabeat Studios which is scheduled to be released August 16, 2011.
Shwayze and Cisco’s ‘Seedless Summer Tour’ will begin july 21, 2011, first stop Missoula, MT. Judging by the name it already Sounds like a great tour. On the road with the duo will be ‘Slightly Stoopid’ and ‘Rebelution’.
“We just want people to know that 2011 is the summer of Shwayze and Cisco”, says Adler.
