The worldwide rights for the highly anticipated film ‘Greetings From Tim Buckley’ have been acquired by international production and sales company Celluloid Dreams. The movie, which is being directed by Dan Algrant, who co-wrote the script with Emma Sheanshang and David Brendel, stars Penn Badgley, Imogen Poots, Frank Wood and Norbert Leo Butz.

‘Greetings From Tim Buckley’ follows Jeff Buckley, played by Badgley, as he performs at the tribute concert for his father, Tim, in 1991 at St. Ann’s Church. After starting a romance with a woman who works at the church, Jeff comes to understand his father, who abandoned him. With his performance debut of his father’s songs, Jeff launches his career, and becomes known as one of the greatest young musicians of his time.

Principal photography for ‘Greetings From Tim Buckley’ is currently shooting in New York City. The film is being produced by Patrick Milling Smith, John N. Hart and Fred Zollo.
