TV Line recently caught up with Smallville star Erica Durance, aka Lois Lane of the super boy series. Since the show’s sad ending last summer, Durance has been keeping herself busy with numerous roles, with one of her latest gigs as a guest star in the upcoming freshman series Charlie’s Angels.
Talking about her character with the news outlet, the actress is scheduled to appear as a CIA Operative Samantha Masters, who is described as no holds barred kind of lady. There is a softer side to Masters though, apparently she had a prior love connection with Charlie’s liaison, Bosley.
The two will reportedly come face to face once again, with plenty of tension between the two. “I wouldn’t necessarily call it a sexual tension, Durance revealed to TVLine “but there is definitely a tension there from having had a relationship before – and it’s not finished yet. I end up coming along for the ride, to see what the Angels are doing and how we can best help them,” Durance explains. Sounds like a great plan, doesn’t it. Unfortunately, her assistance comes with a couple of serious downsides. “There is bickering as well,” Durance reveals with a laugh. “And then we all get into a lot of trouble!” Charlie’s Angels will premiere on ABC on Thursday, September 22nd at 8/7c.
Erica Durance is also attached to the family movie Sophie, Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie, and the TV series Saving Hope.
