The popular show “Glee” looks to be casting another young adult into the fold.

Entertainment Weekly caught a glimpse of a casting call for the show, which states:

“Young man 18 and over to play 17. He is extremely handsome. Must be an excellent singer. HUGE guest star, MAJOR recurring role.”

Also, “Glee” creator/producer Ryan Murphy is looking for a 30-something guy to play a character named Johnny. Johnny is “a tall big dude who is an Ohio State football recruiter.” This character is also a recurring role.

These two cast openings are going to be huge for the people who land them, so I’m rather excited to see who gets the roles.

“Glee” will have a lot of new additions this year, including the introduction of Tamlyn Tomita (“The Joy Luck Club”) and Keong Sim (“The Last Airbender”) as Mike Chang (Harry Shum, Jr.) and LaMarcus Tinker (“Friday Night Lights”) as Mercedes’ (Amber Riley) boyfriend, Marcus.

“Glee” will return to Fox Sept. 20.

I put the news story to you, now. Who would you like to see land these roles? Or, do you think you have what it takes to land them yourself? Give us your opinions in the comments section below.
