A new International movie trailer for Haywire from Steven Soderbergh has been dropped to the web. The action flick stars mixed martial artist and lead actress Gina Carano, Ewan McGregor and Michael Fassbender, as well as Channing Tatum, Michael Douglas and Antonio Banderas. The trailer follows Carano as a black ops super soldier who is betrayed by her own kind. After wiping the floor with Channing Tatum, Carano is seen in the action filled and very intense trailer kicking an enemy out of a window, snapping someone’s neck with her powerful legs, and basically just kicking some serious ass. Carano is a believable lethal weapon which makes Haywire all the more appealing, along with appearances by a large number of stars. “Beautiful freelance covert operative Mallory Kane is hired out by her handler to various global entities to perform jobs which governments can’t authorize and heads of state would rather not know about. After a mission to rescue a hostage in Barcelona, Mallory is quickly dispatched on another mission to Dublin. When the operation goes awry and Mallory finds she has been double crossed, she needs to use all of her skills, tricks and abilities to escape an international manhunt, make it back to the United States, protect her family, and exact revenge on those that have betrayed her.”
Haywire will be released in theaters on January 20th 2012.
