Being a fan of Amy Winehouse, I, like so many others, were devastated when she past away this year. Aside from the tragedy of what happened to her, it was terrible to think that there wouldn’t be a follow-up album to the fantastic “Back to Black.”

However, there will be a follow-up album released after all, according to The Hollywood Reporter. According to the site, Island Records announced Monday that “Lioness: Hidden Treasures” will be released December 5 and will have 12 songs, including some new songs she was working on before her untimely death, unreleased tracks, and alternative versions of her “Back to Black” hits.

The CD will also include the recording of “Body & Soul,” which also appeared on Tony Bennett’s latest CD, “Duets II.”

The album was put together by producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, Winehouse’s collaborators, and some of the proceeds from the U.K. sales will help children and young adults in need.

You can read the full track listing here at The Hollywood Reporter. So, if you’re a Winehouse fan, what do you think about the release of the new album? Are you excited to hear some new tracks? Give your opinions in the comments section below the post.
