According to AOL TV, NBC might cause “Community” fans to go into conniption fits by moving the beloved cult-hit sitcom to a different timeslot.

According to the site, Tina Fey’s “30 Rock” is being put in the timeslot “Community” usually has, which could possibly spell doom for the Little Show That Could. Even worse for fans of the show, when “30 Rock” returns to NBC Thursday, January 12 at 8 p.m. ET, “Community” will be off the radar altogether. “The Firm,” a new drama, will have the Thursday, 10 p.m. ET slot now held by hit police show “Prime Suspect,” starring Maria Bello. Also changing–“Whitney” and “Up All Night” will be switching timeslots. Also, newcomer “Smash,” NBC’s answer to Fox’s “Glee,” will premiere Monday, February 6 at 10 p.m. ET, causing “Rock Center with Brian Williams” to move to the Wednesday, 9 p.m. ET timeslot.

Technically, all of this is bad news for any of these shows, since people get used to watching certain shows at certain times–I still haven’t gotten used to TLC’s decision to move “What Not To Wear” to Tuesday nights–but for a show like “Community,” who has a big following but still, for some reason, seems expendable to the higher-ups, this could be ultimately brutal.

You can see the full lineup (including more show changes) at AOL TV. What do you think about “Community”‘s chances of survival? How do you feel about the changes in general? Give your opinions below.
