Vampires are the new Fabio, it seems (and I guess I’m dating myself by showing that I remember when Fabio was popular). In any case, vampires are heartthrobs, but it’s not like that started with Robert Pattinson as Edward in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” Vampires have always represented the dark, alluring side that women seem to go weak in the knees for. Here are 10 examples of vampire characters that are to die for:

#10 Dracula (1931’s “Dracula”): This not the original “Dracula” by any means, but this is by far the most iconic and, dare I say it, the sexiest. Bela Lugosi’s Dracula is the vampire most think of when they think of the word “vampire.” He’s suave, debonair, has a great accent, as well as dark and mysterious. All he needs is a romance novel cover, and he’d be set.
