A new trailer for The Vow has made its way online. A straight up love tale that features Channing Tatum of Dear John and 21 Jump Street fame, as well as the notorious Rachel McAdams, who previously dazzled fans in The Notebook, features the two as a married couple who are dealt a serious blow when they get into a car accident. Here’s the official plot synopsis per IMDb. “A car accident puts Paige (McAdams) in a coma, and when she wakes up with severe memory loss, her husband Leo (Tatum) works to win her heart again.”
Seen in the trailer, The Vow shifts from scene to scene showcasing what’s to come for the married Tatum and McAdams after amnesia makes her husband an unfamiliar and unrecognizable figure who cares for her. Unaware of who he is she seems to go through the motions while he fights to regain the former bond between them. Directed by Michael Sucsy, with a screenplay from Jason Katims and Abby Kohn, the movie, that closely resembles an adaption straight from the books of Nicholas Sparks, looks promises and should easily hit it out of the park for romance fans.
