ComicBookMovie.com has pointed out that an Entertainment Weekly article that has revealed some very interesting details about “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Some of the details include the inner-workings of the Batcave (which includes a working waterfall and a concrete platform that can rise from the waters below) and Christian Bale’s last filming day as Batman. “I got to say goodbye from within the batcowl,” said Bale. “It was very quiet, just a couple of people there. But in the midst of it, I said, ‘Hold on a sec. Let me take a moment. This is it. I’m never going to have this claustrophobia again!’ So I had to pause. I had to.”

A bigger detail involves the rumors about Christopher Nolan possibly wanting to shoot film of the Occupy Wall Street protesters in Zuccotti Park. According to the article, Nolan denies reports of him wanting to shoot the protesters, saying that he an his collaborators wanted to film in New York “nine months before Occupy Wall Street even existed.” However, he says, “The truth is, we wanted to shoot on Wall Street for the same iconic reasons that the Occupy movement chose that location: It is a symbol of American wealth and capitalism.”
