Tom Cruise is the latest actor to be added to the list of presenters for the 84th Academy Awards, the telecast’s producers, Brian Grazer and Don Mischer, have announced. The three-time Oscar nominee is the latest star to be confirmed to appear on the ceremony. Previously announced presenters include Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez and the main cast of ‘Bridesmaids,’ including first-time nominees Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy, along with Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper and Wendi McLendon-Covey.
The 84th annual Academy Awards, which will honor film achievements from 2011, is scheduled to air live on Sunday, February 26th, 2012 from the Kodak Theatre from the Hollywood Highland Center. It will be broadcast live at 8:30pm EST/5:30 pm EST on ABC, and can be seen in more than 225 countries worldwide.
