Is there anything that “Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show, Great Job!” creators Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim can’t do? This dynamic duo can not only create their own show, which has happily remained on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim for the past couple of years, but are showing the world that they’re lords and rulers of it all with their first film “Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie.” Not only did they direct this crazy hilarious and brilliantly random at times movie, but they wrote it and star in it.
Tim and Eric are given a billion dollars to make a movie by the Schlaaang corporation, but waste it. Their lives at stake, the guys skip town in search of a way to pay the money back. They try to rehabilitate a bankrupt mall full of vagrants, bizarre stores and a man-eating wolf that stalks the Pizza Court in order to get enough money to pay back what they owe.
Earlier I got the chance to talk with Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim about their new movie. No wait, scratch that, I tried talking to them about it and then a flower got in the way. Weird, right? “Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie” is already out on Video-On-Demand and will be released in limited theaters this Friday, March 2nd.
