Want to check out a new poster for the upcoming comedy “The Dictator”? Take a look below the post to see the new poster that has General Aladeen’s portrait covering up all of New York City’s Central Park.

With the release date getting closer, I’m anticipating how this film will be received; from this poster, I can see that it’s truly aiming to be a fun summer comedy, aiming to entertain the PG-13 crowd and probably some date night couples.

“The Dictator” was written by, produced by and stars Sacha Baron Cohen in the title role. Other screenplay and producing credits go to Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel and Scott Rudin also co-produced. The film is directed by Larry Charles and also stars Anna Faris and Ben Kingsley. The official synopsis of the film is “[t]he heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.”

“The Dictator” will be in theaters May 16. You can check out more about the film at the film’s official site.
