More press is coming out about “The Dictator,” and in true Sacha Baron Cohen fashion, he’s playing it up
to the hilt.

Paramount Pictures have released photos of Baron Cohen as General Aladeen with his female bodyguards as they arrive in Sydney. You can look through the gallery below to see some of General Aladeen’s entrance into Sydney.

If you’ve read my “Dictator” posts before, you’ll already know that I’m very interested to see how the critics will review this film. To me, the film seems like it could go either way, critically. But we’ll all see how the film is when it premieres in theaters May 16.

“The Dictator” also stars Anna Faris and Ben Kingsley. The film revolves around, well, a dictator. General Aladeen visits New York City, and through a series of events, is stripped of his beard and medals and forced to live life as a commoner. The film seems to be a film of not only comedy, but also of redemption. You can learn more about the film at republicofwadiya.com

What do you think the film? Do these pictures make you more anxious and excited to see the film? And what do you think the critics will do to this film? Give your opinions in the comments section below.
