A first official poster for Josh Radnor’s indie flick ‘Liberal Arts’ is now out for fans to see. The drama comes from ‘The How I Met Your Mother’ actor who not only stars in the flick, but directed and wrote the movie’s screenplay. A hit at Sundance, the movie centers on Radnor as “a single man in his mid-30s who struggles to deal with growing older and gaining extra responsibilities. He revisits his college days at a retirement dinner where he meets a beautiful sophomore, which brings out forgotten emotions and hopes.”

Radnor’s love interest in ‘Liberal Arts’ is played by breakout actress Elizabeth Olsen who has recently been ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene’ and ‘Silent House’. Also part of the cast is The Lucky One’s Zac Efron, Richard Jenkins from ‘Stepbrothers’, West Wing’s Allison Janney, and Elizabeth Reaser from the Twilight franchise. ‘Liberal Arts’ will be released in select cities this September through IFC Films who picked up the movie for North American distribution. The feature was also recently seen at London’s Sundance festival. Watch a teaser of the movie with Radnor and Olsen below. The flick is Radnor’s second run in the directorial arena. He previously made his debut with ‘Happythankyoumoreplease’.
