There is finally an end to the epic Tupac Shakur murder-robbery cold case! According to The Urban Daily, Jimmy Henchman confessed to being the person who orchestrated the 1994 robbery and murder of the legendary rapper.

According to the site, Henchman, as well as one of his partners, confessed after being convicted of controlling an interstate drug operation. However, Henchman’s confession won’t be used against him; according to The Village Voice, Henchman confessed during “Queen for a Day” government sessions, which allows suspected assailants under investigation to make a deal with the government to admit their knowledge of certain crimes, with the deal being that the information won’t be used to prosecute them.

Also, according to HipHopWired, the statue of limitations on the robbery have run out. What this means is that even though Henchman confessed, he won’t receive any extra years to what is probably going to be an extensive prison sentence.
