Food Network is celebrating Halloween and fall with three new series and eight season premieres of primetime and daytime favorites. The channel is also offering tailgating and Halloween-themed content for recipes for the most delicious season treats.

The series premieres include ‘Home Made in America with Sunny Anderson,’ which premieres Saturday, October 6 at 9:30am. It follows Anderson as she hits the road to track down the unsung heroes of the American culinary world – home cooks.

‘Sandra’s Restaurant Remakes’ premieres Sunday, October 14 at 10am. Sandra Lee visit famous restaurants and discover their most celebrated and delicious dishes. She then heads back home to recreate restaurant quality dishes with tricks and shortcuts all her own.

‘Health Inspectors’ premieres Friday, October 26 at 10:30pm. Ben Vaughn outlines what restaurants must do to maintain proper kitchen safety and cleanliness before the health inspectors come in for review.

Returning Food Network series include ‘Halloween Wars,’ which premieres Sunday, October 7 at 9pm. ‘Sweet Genius’ returns Thursday, October 18 at 10pm; ‘Best Thing I Ever Made’ premieres Sunday, October 7 at 10:30am. Other returning shows are ‘Guy’s Big Bite,’ which will premiere Sunday, October 14 at 10:30am; ‘Trisha’s Southern Kitchen,’ which will kick off Saturday, October 20 at 11am; and ‘Giada at Home’ premieres Saturday, October 27 at 11:30am.

Several featured series on Food Network include ‘$24 in 24,’ which premieres Monday, October 1 at 10:30pm. The show follows Jeff Mauro as he visits different American cities with a mission to find local cuisine on the cheap.

There will also be new episodes of such shows as ‘Chopped,’ which returns Tuesday, October 2 at 10pm. The series follows talented cooks as they bravely attempt to amaze the judges with different dishes every week.

‘Restaurant: Impossible’ is set to premiere Wednesday, October 3 at 9pm. Chef Robert Irvine will visit restaurants across America that are in desperate need of help in order to turn business around.

‘Restaurant Stakeout,’ which premieres Wednesday, October 10 at 10pm, follows Willie Degel as he also visits struggling restaurants to offer answers that will prevent the businesses from falling apart.

On-Air theme weekends include Tailgate Party Weekend, which runs Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7 from 7am – 2pm. Viewers will get ready for College and Pro football partying with a weekend block of recipes from Food Network’s top chefs.

The Sweets and Treats Weekend –runs Saturday October 2 and Sunday October 23 from 7am – 12pm. Viewers will get ready for Halloween with a weekend block of sweet recipes featuring new episodes from such shows as ‘Paula’s Best Dishes,’ ‘Trisha’s Southern Kitchen,’ ‘Rachael Ray’s Week in a Day,’ ‘Sandra’s Restaurant Remakes’ and ‘Sandwich King.’
